Offers links to websites for similar projects. Websites are selected by the tool based on relevance to the project, and no other criteria.
Provides information about where you can purchase project materials in your area. (The GPT does not save your location data). Sources are selected by the tool based on relatedness to crafting only.
Provides sample images of the project defined in the instructions. Just ask the tool for a sample image of the project.
Offers trending and popular project ideas.
Offers eco-friendly materials suggestions, with an emphasis on re-use.

Heads-Up Caveats

At present, people who use the free version of ChatGPT can see the tool but cannot use it. If you have a ChatGPT Plus (paid) subscription with OpenAI, the tool is available for your use. This is decided by OpenAI and not by me.
Sample images rendered by DALL-E can be strange. Feel free to let the Learn Crafts! GPT know if an image it serves is odd. This is new technology and we hope that it continues to improve over time.
When using the Learn Crafts! GPT, please be aware that it may provide you with broken links. Simply ask “are these links broken?” before using them. It will then check and provide valid links. I’m still working on the API integration to resolve this.
