People often assume that my house is filled with beautiful handmade lamps, and they are absolutely correct! Between projects, I make Victorian lampshade and antique lamp pairings for display and use in my home. Being the type of person who likes to change the décor from time to time, this works out wonderfully.
Here's one of my favorites, a single lamp from a pair I made called "Lily at Sunrise". I love the mixture of tan and dusty rose, and it is quite complimentary with the beautiful matelassé cotton bedspread set, the dreamy canopy, and gorgeous room divider-as-a-headboard. The soft dusty tones create a sense of warmth and comfort with the added benefit of being incredibly beautiful.

*2023 Update*
Years after writing this blog page it is fun to reflect on changes. As of today, I now have four Victorian lampshade and antique lamp parings in my home within different rooms, adding luxury and glamour to each space in which they reside.
In addition, the twin to the above noted lamp is long since sold, and I still simply cannot part with the original. It is interesting how Victorian lamps and shades get under your skin, but once incorporated into your home décor, it is impossible to imagine not having them.
