Antique Lamps - Beauty Meets Functionality

Antique Lamps as Functional Art

While are for the sake of art is delightful, art can also serve a function. Art that can be physically utilized for a purpose is called functional art. Functional art meets practical needs while concurrently providing joy and beauty. Antique lamps are functional art. Here at Elegance Lamps, you will find the perfect fusion of functionality and beauty in every antique lamp and silk Victorian lampshade created.

Tired of questionable overseas quality and poor lamp design?  Want unique, one-of-a-kind style? Crystal Hayes at Elegance Lamps scours the Earth looking for opportunities to upcycle gorgeous quality antique lamps from a time when products were made to last.  Some of our lamps are nearly a century old, and are refurbished with new UL listed electrical parts, by a certified electrician. Lamps manufactured today simply do not feature the quality construction, style, and beauty of antique lamps.

Bored with plain beige lampshades?  We use perfectly-preserved works of textile arts that have been hiding in storage for decades, ready to be adored for years to come.  Because antique textiles are rare, our lamps are handmade one-of-a-kind designs--there will never be another.  Elegance Lamps Victorian lampshades are unique, like the people who love them.

Sustainability, re-use, and beautiful art that lasts a lifetime.  That's what we do at Elegance Lamps.
