Made in the Shade! Springtime Victorian Lampshades

Decorating with Victorian Lampshades and Antique Lamps in Springtime

Its finally springtime in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest, home of Elegance Lamps! Leaves have returned to the trees and flowers are popping up everywhere providing endless inspiration from nature. What a perfect time to refresh your surroundings with an updated handmade Victorian lampshade, antique lamp or both.

This season I am focused on making gorgeous beaded Victorian lampshades available without the lamp bases.  Since many of you already own lamps that you adore, this will provide the opportunity to update your shades at lowered costs!

Every option is on the table when it comes to handmade vintage style lampshades, whether you love vivid colors, pastels, or darker gothic styles.  I will be taking inspiration from nature in my next few projects, to include beaded florals, birds and fish, and a couple of good old fashioned gothic stylized shades.

I am always interested in hearing from you!  If you have suggestions or need a custom shade that is designed perfectly to fit your home décor, please reach out to me at studio@elegancelamps.com Stay tuned for more amazing works of lighting art made with fine silks, antique textiles and handstrung beads.
