Cathedral Window Victorian Lampshade Antique Lamp
The Cathedral Window lamp was inspired by the Rose Window at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington D.C. This majestic lamp hosts a handmade silk Victorian lampshade joined with a 1920’s Art Deco lamp base.
The handmade lampshade features fine hand-dyed silks and a collection of antique textiles that blend beautifully to create the illusion of a stained-glass window.
The Cathedral Window beadwork is a delight to behold, being calm by day, and vibrant at night. Hundreds of tiny beads (hand strung) into elaborate cutwork bronze tubes mirror the patterns of the window panel, creating a stained-glass experience. Czech crystals and detailed bronze metal beads bring harmony and balance to the strands.
The lamp base is a stunning 1920’s parlor sized Art Deco find, with a Vaseline glass orb, footed base and double pull chain sockets. New hardware including the socket fixture, cord and internal wiring have been installed by a certified electrician using new UL listed parts.
