The handmade crescent moon Victorian lampshade is made with fine silk, vintage French beaded couture lace, antique textiles and handstrung beads. Colors incorporated into the shade include amber, brick, wine, and silver. The lampshade is designed for low wattage ambient light.
The beads were hand-selected and arranged to compliment the detailed work in the lace, but also to glow beautifully when the lamp is lit. The In total, the bead line includes 1,440 pieces and hundreds more in the lace detail.
The early century antique lamp base has delightful lines, original paint, and pull-chain switching. A handmade beaded pull hangs from the socket. The lamp is rewired by a licensed electrician using new UL Listed parts.
