The handmade Victorian lampshade features hand-dyed silks and a collection of fine antique textiles. Colors incorporated into the shade include purple, forest green, brown, yellow and cream.
Finished with hand-strung Czech bicones alternated with semi-precious sea agate, the strands are designed to emulate strands of jewels. The glow of the beads in sunlight is positively captivating.
The cast metal early-century base has been restored by a certified electrician, with new UL Listed hardware, a standard socket and has pull-chain switching. The base is artfully hand-painted to match the shade, in tones of purple, green and bronze. Hand-painted antique finial.
